We are planning a memorial to one of our members, Mr Gerald Smart.
Gerald showed us how to plant fuchsias around the square, and in hanging baskets, and inspired the logo at the top of this page.

Planters
We are hoping to move two of the planters currently on Priory Road back
to their original positions on Church Street.
We think that the road and pavement works that necessitated their removal have finished,
and they can again be enjoyed in their proper places.
We are also in process of replacing, and cleaning the white plaques attached to the planters,
so if any firms would like to sponsor one, then please get in touch - e.g. by emailing
 .
|
(I don't have a photograph of the planters in their current position on Priory Road, but if somebody emails one to
us then I will put it here).

Village Christmas Tree
We have now planted a permanent Village Christmas Tree.
Hopefully it will continue to grow, so that we will be able to decorate it this December.
